Hi,
i like this tool, but i would like to have more control over the input prices. Would be nice to have the pricing input options per category settable (raw, minerals, salvage, items (T1/T2/T3)). I also would like a option to cut the top 5-10% highest and lowest imports, so we can filter bad buy/sell orders. I'm also looking for a option to add a fixed % or ISK modifier per production batch and per run, so we can offset prices better.

Hi,
is there a option to reset the pricing cache? All i can find is the "reset all options" entry, which also resets your api key. I would like to be able to clear/reset the pricing cache to trigger a download of more recent data. |

Thx this would be great, also is there a way to see the exact list and cost calculation for the reverse engineer part? Would be great to get a list with cost and needed parts just like a blueprint. Could u also post how exactly the current RE cost formula looks like? Do u use some math for the % chance of succeeding the RE at all and some % chance to getting the selected BP aka the fixed 25%? I still have problems figuring out what the cost difference from wrecked to intact actually means to me. I would also like a option to automatically include the RE cost per item. So that i can see the effective cost difference from using a wrecked and intact relic and it s corresponding cost and different runs (3 vs 20).
thx Andy |

Hi
Bob mentioned this in a other thread: "eve-central has a "sell/percentile" which tracks moderately close to the EMD/EMK 5% number", can u add this "percentile" import also to the price update pane? |

Hi,
is there a limit/problem with the import of blueprints? I had this working, but somehow no blueprints show up if i try scan either the corp or personal? I already tried reset the IPH and reimporting the keys, but still no blueprints after scan? is there some timelimit or other problem to be aware of?
Thx Andy |

Thx Andy Yeah, there is a time limit of 6 hours for API asset calls. But if you reset them all, then it should clear that and let you reload. I'll double check it and fix it if it's not this case.
Now after 8 hours i see the BPC correctly, but like noted i reset IPH several times. Maybe there is a long update delay in eve api, since i moved the BPC from personal to Corp? But than again i tried this also 3 hours after i moved them. |

Thx for the price reset and SVR options!
I still get this crash, if i double-click on a entry in the manufacture list, to get it automatically added to the blueprint/prod pane.
Thx Andy |

Could u add support for other price fetch api's, like marketeer, eve.addicts.nl and preferable settable as option? I would like to have this 5% buy/sell options from marketeer, since avg., median is not very correct on various products.
Thx Andy |

Thats because Eve-Marketeer is down, where IPH gets those SVR data from. So nothing we can do atm until its back up. |

Hard to say since the Eve-Marketeer guy had some RL stuff going on and don't seem to have this site at a very high priority. So we cant really say, but usually think in terms of weekends. My guess is end of this weekend or next. |

Hi,
i already asked this once, but how are the RE cost calculated in IPH? It seems a bit off from my calculations, since it only includes the fail % chance shown, but not the general 25% chance to get a specific subsystem?
So as a example, it shows a total cost for a 10 BPC of "Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay" as 86Mill for the whole copy, but this only takes into account that the RE job has a 50% fail chance. However actually getting this specific BPC only has a 25% base chance at all, so its more like 55% * 25% = 12,5% chance to get one at all. This ofc increases the RE cost and should be factored in. This means instead of the shown 86Mill, it actually would take around 8 tries to produce one BPC, which in comparison increase the RE cost from 86M to around 400M.
I would like a option that simply adds this extra base probability % and factors it in the costs and resulting profit.

Oki i just checked the code on sourceforge and indeed only the fail chance is factored into the RE costs.
Quote:AvgRunsforSuccess = 1 / BPREChance
So we somehow need to add the base probability and maybe factor in some values for "profitable" results on high profitable groups. The idea would be that its very costly to try to get a specific subsystem in a 25% "profitable" group, while it is way cheaper to try get one in a 75% group, since even "wrong" successfully RE results can be produced with profit.
Maybe some others have inputs for this math problem, since currently for all tengu subs the IPH/profit shown is way off and does not represent real ingame costs, especially for the expansive offensive systems.
Thx Andy |

Galffin wrote: I thought I would throw in my 2 cents on RE. While I haven't actually done RE and manufacture I did crunch the numbers a bit and I think the best way to look at the numbers is profit per group. Even if you don't get the high profit bpc you want to mitigate possible losses with a bad bpc, so you want to average the outcomes.
The problem is u don't simply produce that "unwanted" profitable sub, since mostly there are only 1 or 2 per group that u would produce at all. So basically u either have those 4x RE cost or u can migrate costs for some groups. Like i noted there are only a max. of 2 subs per group that do matter at all and the second unwanted has much lower profit, but if u have capacity it may be worth to produce and offset the RE costs. So we just need a set-able value what is considered "profitable", so we can filter those subs, since the sometimes shown 100-75% values are quite misleading to what u would actually produce. |

- Fixed bug that caused Reverse Engineering costs to be less than they are.
- Fixed error that crashed the program when double clicking on T3 items in the Manufacturing Tab to take you back to the Blueprint Tab.
- Added setting to disable SVR updates.
Thx for the quick update before u leave town, btw can u also add POS fuel costs to RE costs, since i only see it added to invention/PE/ME?
Thx Andy |

Is there a way to see how many BPC u have? So u can manage stock of those or does the api don't show this kind of information?
